Live jobs, courses and apprenticeships from our Jobs Board — a gold badge means you can meet that employer at one of our fairs. Apply early, or say hello on the day.
No risk, book with confidence
Explore the local areaPost your jobs, courses and apprenticeships once — they work everywhere we do: on our national Jobs Board, broadcast to Google Jobs, and highlighted to the candidates coming to this event — for 12 months, at no extra cost.
Here are a few — every event is built to put your brand in front of people actively looking for something new.
Our London events are priced separately due to significantly higher venue and operational costs, alongside the increased scale and reach they offer. Exhibiting in London provides access to one of the UK's largest and most diverse candidate markets, making it a premium location within our event network.
The highest level of visibility available — activated from the point of booking once all relevant information has been received.

Location guide / Greater London
London’s employment market covers finance, technology, healthcare, construction, creative work and much more. There is no single housing or commuting pattern that fits it all. Borough services, the cost of a particular home and the complete journey to work provide a more useful starting point than a London-wide average.

Know the areaThis is a Greater London guide. Individual London-area fairs have their own venues; the housing benchmark is for London as a region, not the City of London or a particular neighbourhood.

Area averages are not current asking prices or individual property valuations. Local short-term changes are volatile; use a year or longer. UK HPI house-price observations are provisional and subject to revision.
City Hall identifies financial and business services, technology, life sciences, creative activity, the visitor economy and green industries among London’s strengths. The 2026–2029 skills evidence also covers construction, health and social care, and hospitality.
Start with a short list of tasks, sectors and acceptable workplaces. At the fair, ask about office attendance, shifts, paid training and progression. A recognisable London employer may place a role at a campus, hospital, branch or operational site far from its headquarters.
Transport for London is one employer example, with its careers hub covering recruitment, apprenticeships, graduate routes and work experience. Each pathway has its own entry requirements and application process.
Choose two or three areas linked to the workplace, then compare the same property type. The official rent figure shown alongside covers the London region. It is neither an asking rent nor a room price, and variation between boroughs is substantial.
Price current listings together with travel, Council Tax, utilities, broadband and one-off moving costs. Check heating, storage, shared facilities and the condition of the home. If sharing, establish the practical arrangements for bills and common areas before committing.
TfL’s planner compares London journeys and provides options relevant to different access needs. Plan using the full home and workplace addresses. A direct route with a useful final walk may be more practical than a shorter journey involving several changes.
Check fares for the actual route, attendance days and times; do not assume all rail journeys use the same fare rules. Test an early shift, late finish and weekend pattern if relevant. Check engineering works and live service information before travelling to the fair.
The official London guide covers museums, parks, outdoor activity, theatre and neighbourhood experiences. Use it to discover options, then narrow the choices to what fits your time and budget. London’s best-known attractions need not become the basis of every weekend.
During housing visits, try the ordinary routine: food shopping, a library, a park and an evening journey home. Explore community activity close to the address you are considering. A manageable local routine makes the wider city easier to enjoy.
Use the government’s postcode tool to identify your council. Council Tax, housing support, waste collections, parking and school information depend on the borough and address. A “London” postal description is not enough to identify the correct service.
Before moving, prepare the tenancy inventory, utility arrangements and a first-month budget. For families, verify admissions and childcare availability alongside working hours. If arriving from outside the UK, check the relevant official requirements for your own circumstances rather than assuming an event registration gives permission to work.
We use official local authorities, transport operators, public data and destination organisations. Data periods are shown alongside figures. Employer examples describe the local economy; they are not a promise of vacancies or attendance at the fair.
Next editorial review due 3 December 2026. Prices, services and availability can change before then.
