In this role, you will provide administrative support for volunteer speaker coordinators whilst also mentoring them in their role.
What you’ll be doing
We rely on volunteers like you to help us improve the lives of people with sight loss. In this role your support will include:
· Using Guide Dogs database to coordinate the activity of volunteer speaker coordinators.
· Liaising with speaker coordinators to gather information for administration requests.
· Working with the team to enhance support satisfaction and to ensure supporters receive an excellent journey.
· Gathering and recording success stories.
· Signposting supporters to fundraising opportunities.
You’ll have
Ideally you will:
· Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
· Have experience of using databases and spreadsheets.
· Have experience in an administration role.
· Have experience in coaching and/or mentoring.
Volunteering is a two-way street, so in return for your time you will get a dedicated volunteer manager/key contact who will help you settle in and support you during your time with us. You’ll also get:

This role has 2 hours of training and then you’ll be ready to go!
