Street Angel

You’ll be a volunteer working with a trained partner within a small team managed by a Team Leader.  You’ll  offer help to people in difficulty in Guildford town centre on Friday or Saturday nights once a month.  You might need to reconnect them with friends, charge their phones, provide basic first aid, or offer other simple solutions to ensure they get home safely and enjoy a good night out.   You’ll might help defuse tensions and sometimes you’ll help prevent the emergency services from having to be called.  And, you’ll often just give your time to listen - something that is highly valued by many.
