Being a uniformed volunteer with Croydon Sea Cadets involves giving up an average of 2 to 4 hours per week on a Monday or Wednesday evening at our unit in Croydon. Uniformed volunteers are trained by us to deliver the life changing nautical themed cadet experience, based on the customs and traditions of the Royal Navy. Sea Cadets is not part of the Royal Navy and our volunteers don’t need to have military experience. All you need is some spare time on the evenings as specified, a desire to learn new skills and a passion to improve the lives of young people and make a difference in our community.
