The is a full time role from Monday to Friday with a competitive salary and other benefits
Duties:
- Supporting Family Fee Earners by providing secretarial and administrative assistance, to help with the smooth management of client matters
- Preparing correspondence, including legal document and court forms from audio dictation
- Preparing bundles for court
- Dealing with identification documents and understanding AML procedures
- Keeping clients updated with an efficient and polite approach throughout the process
- Ensuring all client personal information is recorded accurately in the case management system
- Ensuring all relevant documents are saved and named correctly in the case management system
- Preparing bills and financial documentation
- Scheduling appointments and meetings with clients.
- Answering the phone and assisting clients and other callers.
- Photocopying and scanning documentation
- Updating and closing of matter files in the case management system and recording of client data
- Ensuring compliance with quality standards, company policies and procedures
- Meeting the highest quality of ethical standards
Key skills and experience;
- Minimum of 2 years previous experience of working in Family Law
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work on own initiative and as part of a team
- Excellent organisational skills
- Adaptable and flexible
- Effectively manage sensitive and confidential information
- Previous experience of dealing with financial information
- Proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Word and Excel and legal case management system
