We currently have an exciting opportunity for a passionate, dedicated and skilled Beauty Lecturer (Level 3) based at Eastleigh College, working on a part-time basis (17 hours per week).

Role and responsibilities:
- Deliver high-quality classroom teaching in Beauty Therapy at Levels 2 and 3
- Plan and deliver engaging, student-centred lessons in line with the College’s curriculum framework
- Undertake all associated organisational and administrative responsibilities, including lesson preparation, assessment and marking
- Provide appropriate student welfare support and academic guidance
- Act as a Personal Tutor to students as required, including all associated pastoral care responsibilities
- Contribute fully to a collaborative team approach to learning and teaching
- Implement student induction procedures and ensure a smooth transition into programmes of study
- Ensure students understand expectations at every stage of their learning journey, with regular reviews to support progress
- Set, assess and provide constructive feedback on practical and theoretical work
- Support and contribute to the organisation of industry-relevant work experience opportunities
Skills / Experience
- Highly motivated professional with strong industry experience in Beauty Therapy
- Experience delivering or supporting teaching at Level 2 and Level 3
- Experience in nail technology is desirable/advantageous
- Ability to communicate effectively with a diverse range of learners
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to meet deadlines in a busy environment
Qualifications
- Minimum GCSE grade 4 / C in English & Maths (or equivalent)
- Level 3 or above qualification in Beauty Therapy (or relevant subject)
