We’re recruiting for a permanent HGV 1 HIAB Driver to join our client’s team in Rutherglen. As an LGV Class 1 Driver, you’ll play a vital role in delivering and collecting essential products to customers – keeping projects moving smoothly and sustainably.

Starting Salary: £36,129.60 per year

Annual Leave: 25 days + Bank Holidays (increasing with service)

Hours: 45 hrs, Mon–Fri, 7.30am–5.00pm

✅ About You

Valid C+E Licence (essential)
-
Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience

Strong local & regional knowledge

Physically fit – role involves some manual handling

Customer-focused with excellent communication skills

Flexible to work overtime when required

Safety-conscious with great attention to detail

Safe, efficient delivery & collection of company units and equipment

Vehicle & load checks, ensuring safety & compliance at all times

Completion of all required paperwork (delivery, collection, damages etc.)

Operate lifting/loading equipment in line with safety standards

Maintain high standards of driving, vehicle checks & fuel efficiency
